Cell Phone With No Service Plan and with plan has evolved to be one of the most important part of life. Most businesses require their officers to have a cell phone. Even individuals need cell phones in going about their daily lives. This is why acquiring this important gadget require intelligence to avoid inappropriate expense. Finding the most reasonable cell phone plan is one requirement in choosing cell phones intelligently. Because of the very large number of network services in this country, it may help you to research and assess their offers before deciding on a cell phone plan.

Before you decide to buy a cell phone, you may want to decide first whether you want a prepaid cell phone service or a traditional cell phone plan. If you decide on a prepaid cell phone service, then no problem, no credit check, you just need to pay outright and immediately you have your phone. Some cell phone companies even offer free cellular phone unit when you acquire a prepaid cell phone service from them. However, when you want a cell phone plan, you may need to choose from a by minute charging or by the second charging. Both charging process have positive and negative points. You need to assess your usage frequency and requirements before you decide on a cell phone plan. You may research on the performance like if they have enough towers to reach you wherever you are. There are different cell phone plans for family and national use. There are also cell phone plans for regional use. All of these have their own benefits although there are also their disadvantages. Cell Phone With No Service Plan or prepaid cell phone plans, there are cell phone units that may not have the capability for this connection.

Other cell phone plans like family plans, this is advantageous for family use and small businesses. There is free access for emergencies. In addition, for family plans, it is cheaper to call the other cell phones included in one billing. There are also discounts for the airtime usage of family members using this cell phone plan. For national plans, this cell phone plan includes free long-distance charges. There are no roaming charges for this cell phone plan and it is another advantage. For regional use, this cell phone plan may require you to pay long-distance charges but the airtime rates may be cheaper cell phone with no service plan.

Cell phone plans may be beneficial is you can acquire the once that have the benefits you need. The manner of usage is an essential requirement, if you do not need it as much and just for emergencies, prepaid cell phone plan could suit you well than traditional plans where you need to sign a contract with the service provider.

Cell Phone With No Service Plan or Prepaid cell phone plans are often preferred; however, for travelers the traditional plan with no roaming charges and no long-distance charges might be best.

All of this notwithstanding, in order to make full and effective use of your cell phone, you may want to set some guidelines in your usage. If you want your cell phone for your business, you may need to make sure you turn it off when you need privacy. Being available every time may not do well for you. Reserve sometime for yourself and never allow people to disturb you during this time. If your business partners know they could reach you even late at night and on weekends, they will be annoyed if you suddenly change this behavior. Having a cell phone and being available all the time may not be healthy, thus, you have to be wary not to allow people disturb you when you need to be alone with or without your cell phone. Cell Phone With No Service Plan or Prepaid cell phone plan.

There is certainly a lot of excitement these days where many people are talking about the benefits of VOIP phone service. At many colleges across the country, students frequently do not even have a traditional phone in their dorm or apartment but use VOIP services instead. Did you ever feel like they know something that you need to know about?

Let’s talk about VOIP and what it can mean for you. VOIP phone service is not without its own set of disadvantages, so be sure you consider all the angles before you run out and sign up for VOIP.

VOIP phone service uses your existing high-speed Internet connection and allows you to make and receive phone calls over the Internet. That is the entire bottom line summary of what VOIP is. But you need to dig under the surface a bit in order to determine if VOIP is right for you.

First of all, not all parts of the country can get a local phone number. If you live in a rural area, chances are that a LOCAL telephone number for your VOIP service is not going to be available. What that means is that if someone local wants to call you, even your next door neighbor, they may have to make a long distance call to reach you.

Can you move or “port” your existing phone number to your VOIP phone service? Supposedly the answer is yes but I do not recommend it. I have seen too many horror stories where the local phone company has screwed this up and then you end up losing the phone number you have had for the last 50 years.

Next you need a high-speed Internet connection. This is NOT provided with your VOIP service. The majority of homes in the US who would be good candidates for VOIP phone service already have a high-speed Internet connection, so it is going to use something you already have anyway. But be aware of two caveats here:

1. A high-speed Internet connection does NOT include satellite. If you have a satellite high-speed Internet connection, do not consider VOIP because you will not be happy. Sure they will SELL it to you but with a satellite high-speed connection, you will not be happy and you will sound like you are talking from the bottom of a bathtub in best case.

2. How reliable is your high-speed Internet connection? If it is not reliable, if it is iffy, if it has frequent outages or if you are getting a very slow speed, perhaps due to the distance limitations of DSL where you are at the very end of the service area, VOIP is not going to work well for you. Remember, if your Internet connection goes out, so does your VOIP service.

Now if you have not been scared away yet, then VOIP phone service might be a good idea for you. VOIP conversation quality is typically as good as or better than your traditional phone conversation. But the big draw for VOIP is the economic considerations. With your phone company, a phone line costs about $25 a month and for that you get a dial tone and perhaps unlimited local calling. That is it and everything else is extra. But with VOIP phone service, you get unlimited calling throughout the entire continental US (some VOIP providers also include Canada), plus caller ID, plus voice mail, plus call waiting, and the VOIP service costs about the same amount of money, and with some VOIP providers, even under $20 per month. Even if they are the same, the fact that long distance is already included in your VOIP service is a huge benefit.

VOIP phone service may or may not be right for you, but once you have considered all the factors, it can save you a ton of money each month.

Free long distance phone service -VOIP -Business Communication Services – About Hosted VoIP

Contemporary business communication services are reaping big rewards from using VoIP phone systems. Professional VoIP providers worldwide are helping to create improved business services through the use of these phone systems. Visit here Now http://free-v-o-i-p.blogspot.com

A PBX phone replacement system enables many features and benefits which have made business communication an asset, instead of simply a necessity. The telephony functionality has enabled improved business services to race ahead in their capabilities as time, money and effort are saved and capitalised on.

Hosted VoIP works by using a broadband internet connection. Through this fast connection, internet protocol is created (IP). The internet telephone systems create business communication services which are efficient and very fast. However, an IP connection offers far more features and benefits than normal PSTN lines.

Business communication services are converting more frequently to VoIP services by the day. PBX systems are becoming unnecessary as VoIP services are the favourite of businesses globally. Companies remaining on a PSTN and PBX supported line are literally falling behind in providing adequate services for their clients as they cannot deliver at their potential best. Old technology is restricting their functioning capabilities.

How hosted VoIP works
Â
VoIP business communication services allow subscribers to control their phone systems over the internet through application servers provided by a hosted VoIP service provider. When making a call, voice signals are converted into data packets and sent via a hosted VoIP platform to the PSTN line or VoIP terminal to which the call is being made. When the voice data arrives at the required destination, the system converts the data packets back into voice signals.

The features

A VoIP system can have many branches. This means that the system can have many extensions and lines, carrying usability further. This allows companies to build large communication networks without expensive line rental, as VoIP is run through the internet and over a centralised platform. Receptionists can manage multiple calls through this centralised system if required.

VoIP subscribers are able to exercise much greater control over their phone systems than previously. System controls are run over the internet and allow subscribers to customise their requirements in real time. Training is generally not an issue as the user-friendly features are very easy to navigate. The phone systems are able to follow a user when moving locations through the use of softphones: software functioning as a telephone handset on their computer which does not need to be limited to one location. Calls are also very manageable. A subscriber will be able to choose when, where and from whom they receive calls.

The controls on a VoIP interface can be configured by any user and do not require technicians or specialists. Call-outs are not required and professional VoIP providers will offer a free 24 hour help-line, 365 days per year with qualified and experienced technicians to help with any problems experienced. Companies wishing to manage the controls and user features of a hosted VoIP system can use a tool for managing each branch of a system, usually overseen by IT managers. In addition, detailed billing is offered allowing businesses even greater control and awareness surrounding their subscription.

Voicemail and faxes are easily manageable with hosted VoIP. Voicemails can be listened to through an internet connection or through a normal PSTN phone or converted to emails and sent to an inbox to be listened to when convenient. Similarly, fax messages are converted into data and also sent to the subscriber’s inbox, where the data can be read as well as forwarded on.

The benefits

These features have enabled VoIP systems to become the most successful business communication systems. There are many benefits to using hosted VoIP, especially to users needing superior business communication services.

A business can cut costs drastically by using professional VoIP providers for their communication needs. Calls between VoIP sites are free. Call rates to PSTN lines and cell phones are reduced to far below regular call fees and line rentals are charged at a reduced rate. Because a VoIP subscription is inclusive of services, there are no support fees, saving large sums of money normally spent on call out fees.

Because VoIP lines are flexible and easily managed, businesses can add and subtract extensions at will and configure them in real time without needing support staff. Sites can be moved from one location to another and are not restricted by fixed lines. This enables employees to stay in contact from remote locations across the globe when on business trips or working from home.

SIP Trunking Solutions

Many businesses are heavily reliant on their PBX systems and the switch to VoIP may seem a possible liability to them. The option of a SIP Trunking solution is available to those looking to gain the features and benefits of VoIP services, yet retain the use of their PBX. A SIP Trunking solution works with a PBX which a hosted VoIP line is passed through, giving a business all the benefits of hosted VoIP services yet retaining the use of their original PBX system. This option is perfect as a slow introduction to the benefits of VoIP and necessary features to benefit a business.

Business communication services have certainly evolved into a popular communication service with far greater capabilities than PSTN lines and PBX systems. Through reduced costs, increased functionality and greater control, these improved business services have a far greater ability to offer clients the best service they can give. Communication is a primary factor behind business success, and with VoIP services, companies across the globe have started to experience the true potential of their businesses. Visit here Now http://free-v-o-i-p.blogspot.com

Most people can just backup their files using a rewritable CD. There are also a lot of others who can simply use external hard drives. But one should still use a data recovery service as one of the best ways to not only backup but also to recover your precious lost data. One might think this is impossible, yet it depends on the kind as well as the size of the lost data, this is very viable.

For those who are not well versed with computers, data recovery services will be your only stronghold. There is a big chance that your lost data can be brought back to you. There are two distinctive kinds of services. Sometimes, data is lost just because of logical software kinks. However there are times when it is a physical problem in the hard drive. Of course if it is a physical problem, then it is much harder to recover. Some replacements might be required.

A lot of these recovery services just save on a different, remote memory location. In this way, if one should have the hard drive destroyed or wiped clean, then some of the data might still get recovered. So after the problem is fixed, the data can just be re-inserted into the fixed computer.

Such recovery services are really useful. Your data will be protected and backed up everyday. As a bonus, malware will not be a problem because it will not join the backed up files. There are also experts on call to assist you with your problems.

Of course one will have to be prepared because depending on the situation, these services might take a while. In order to bring down the expenses that one is charged in the first storage of data you might want to save everything all at once. However taking a longer time is the key to recovering data.

Such services have programs that run on the computer together with those that back your data up off-site. Usually, these programs are user friendly and come in free trials. Privacy is key so these are very secure. The software compresses the data then it is encrypted for this. Then, it is decrypted when you need the data again. Only you get to access them.

One should always get expenses assessments from such service providers. Offline data recovery as well as logistical data recovery is actually not expensive. But remember if the damage to your computer is physical, then it should be a bit costlier. You might want to consider just getting a brand new computer instead then upload your files there.

In the process of trying to explain to some older friends why they should consider VOIP service for their home, it struck me that I have not found a true beginner’s guide or novice guide that explains what VOIP is and why it may be a good economic and financial decision. This article will address home VOIP service from the beginner’s standpoint, and while not addressing each and every question or concern about VOIP, should provide enough basic information to the point where it will give you a background to know what you are looking at and whether or not it makes sense for your home.

Basic Requirement

The VOIP service provider, almost regardless of which one you choose, does NOT provide your high-speed Internet access. When you buy the VOIP service from them, they assume you already have that. You see, VOIP service uses your existing high-speed Internet service to make and receive phone calls, and the VOIP provider assumes you already have that to email, surf the web, etc.

Even if you do already have high-speed Internet access, it needs to be stable, fast, and reliable. If it is not all three of those things, you are not going to be happy with VOIP service from ANY provider. If your high-speed Internet connection is via satellite, do not consider VOIP, satellite will not work well with it.

Your Local Phone Number

In larger cities and major metropolitan areas, you can almost always get a phone number for your VOIP phone that would be considered a LOCAL phone call for people in your area who want to call you. But in many less-than-metropolitan areas, it is not possible to get a local phone number for your VOIP phone. You can still get and use VOIP service but you won’t have a local phone number. For example, if you live in Podunk Idaho, you may not be able to get a phone number for your VOIP phone that is local to Podunk, but you CAN get a local number for Boise Idaho. The problem with this is that when people want to call you on your VOIP phone, they will actually be making a long distance call to reach you, since your phone number is a Boise number.

If you are just considering VOIP service for making long distance calls and really don’t care that local residents will need to make a long distance call to reach your VOIP phone, then this is not an issue, but it is something to be aware of nonetheless.

Many VOIP service providers will also give you a second (and third and fourth, etc) phone number which is known as a Virtual Number. Say you live in Chicago and have a Chicago phone number for your VOIP phone. But you frequently get calls from friends in Tampa Florida and Denver Colorado. You can get virtual numbers for Tampa and Denver, so that when your friends in Tampa and Denver want to call you, they can call a phone number that is LOCAL to them (where most local calls are free) but it will still ring on your VOIP phone at your home in Chicago.

The Economics Of VOIP

Assuming you have a good stable and reliable high-speed Internet connection, this part is your basic no-brainer. For a traditional phone from the phone company with no extra features like caller ID, voice mail, call waiting, etc, you can expect to pay $25 to $30 per month, and that is just for a dial tone and local calls, with no long distance included. By contrast, your VOIP phone provides unlimited local calling, unlimited nationwide long distance calling, plus caller ID, voice mail, call waiting, and various other things depending on the provider, and it does so for around $20 per month. Our Editor’s Choice top pick at our web site does all this for under $17 per month!

Putting It All Together

The last part is the phone itself. Do you need a special telephone handset? No, you can use the phone you already have. Can you use a cordless phone? Yes, that presents no problem at all. Simply take the phone jack from your existing phone (known as an RJ-11 jack) and plug it into the small box (about the size of a deck of cards) that the VOIP provider sends you when you order service, plug the other end of the box into a spare jack on your high-speed Internet connection router (known as an RJ-45 jack) and you are good to go after you activate your VOIP phone.

It may seem like high-tech rocket science but it really isn’t. The economics are unbeatable and the voice quality (again, assuming you have a rock solid reliable high-speed Internet connection) is as good or better than your traditional phone. With this foundation of knowledge, you may want to check out more details and our Editor’s Choice VOIP services at our web site. It could be one of the smartest financial decisions you will make this year!

Then we got the so-called freelance technicians on eBay. I know. Even I have not imagined that a Alienware Laptop Repair Service could be sold on eBay. Regardless of what you or I think, freelance laptop technicians do exist on the popular site. Many of them might even offer a tempting and affordable package for a laptop overhaul. The catch? Technical skills aside, such freelancers just do not have the resources (human or hardware) to be able to give you a good turn around time. So please feel free to try some of them Alienware service providers on eBay IF you are in no hurry to get your rig back in top shape.

After having had excruciating experiences on getting my Alienware workhorse serviced from the manufacturer and eBay technicians, I almost gave up. Luckily, I decided to try to get this baby fix one last time so I tried searching again for someone that might be able to do a better job. Then I found out that there are indeed some third-party companies that specialize in providing Alienware service.

Solution for Alienware Service

I wish I could say I have tried and tested all of them, luckily I can not since the guys at http://service.ztronics.com/ have done a hell of a good job bringing my rig back to its prime. These guys from Santa Ana, California sure did know their thing. The best part? I did not just have my alienware laptop overhauled inside out, I am also better off with the knowledge that I can still use my Alienware for years to come. And if I will ever need to get a more powerful machine, I need not throw this since I do have a number of upgrade options to make it run at par with any other notebook on the market. So now, all smiles I sure am.

The term VoIP stands for Voice over Internet Protocol, and it is a recent technology that allows Internet users to place voice calls over the Internet. This term may also be referred to as telephony, Internet telephony, or IP telephony.

With VoIP Internet phone service, you no longer need a phone to make voice calls. When you are logged on to the Internet, you can make use of your connection to call people anywhere in the world. This type of call is also cheaper, especially when you compare it to long distance voice calls.

VoIP calls are less expensive because they make use of the network that your Internet connection already uses. Also, there is no need to install extra equipment which helps lower costs. For this reason, calls made between one VoIP user to another are often free or cost a negligible fee. VoIP calls made to regular phones, or to a public switched telephone network (PSTN), cost significantly more, however.

VoIP to PSTN Calls
There are two ways VoIP users and PSTN users can converse with each other. One of the methods is known as direct inward dialing, or DID, which directly connects a PSTN user to a VoIP user. DID calling is provided by VoIP providers.

The other method for making VoIP calls to PSTNs, or vice versa, is through the use of access numbers. With this type of Internet phone service, PSTN callers input access numbers that correspond to a certain VoIP user’s extension number in order for a call to be successful. Access numbers are usually charged as local calls, making it affordable for the PSTN caller and free for the VoIP user.

Who Uses VoIP?
VoIP Internet phone service is gaining popularity, and has been used by individuals and businesses alike. Thanks to the availability of broadband Internet service to individual users, VoIP technology is now available to anyone with a broadband connection. If you want to order VoIP technology for your business, look for a VoIP provider, such as AT&T VoIP, who will provide you with plenty of options for making the most of your VoIP service. Some providers provide you with inbound and outbound VoIP calls worldwide, while some even allow you free unlimited calls to the United States and Canada.

Some providers, such as AT&T VoIP service, also provide customers with a separate phone jack for VoIP calls to increase the quality and make the reception almost the same as that of regular phone service. This type of VoIP service is fixed, and will only allow you to make calls from your home or wherever you have the phone jack installed. This allows you to keep your existing phone number while taking advantage of VoIP technology.

Providers such as Gizmo Project and Skype allow you to make VoIP calls using any computer, anywhere in the world. With this type of VoIP Internet phone service, you can contact anyone and make voice calls no matter where you are.

If you already have AT&T Internet service, all you need to do is order VoIP AT&T phone service to begin enjoying the convenience and affordability that this phone service offers. AT&T is a leading provider of Internet phone service. Choose AT&T VoIP phone services and receive the highest-quality phone service available.

Business VoIP services are already being hailed as the rightful successors to the traditional phone services. Many large enterprises have already integrated VoIP into their networks and with more sophisticated, affordable VoIP solutions in the market, small and medium businesses too are planning to start using business VoIP phones. This is probably the best time for any organization to take a look at the costs and benefits of business VoIP service and determine if it is right for them.

All that’s good with a business VoIP phone….

The most well-known and compelling reason for most businesses to consider VoIP is cost savings. A business VoIP service saves costs for a company on local calls and long-distance calls, which include both domestic and international calls. In particular if the company has many branches, within the country or overseas, then it makes a lot of business sense to go in for a VoIP solution as calls to and from the same provider are often free – similar to cell phone plans.

Other than cost-savings, business VoIP service offers many sophisticated value-added services which make it attractive. For example, a business VoIP phone service does not depend on the location. Whether you are calling an employee in an office a few thousand miles away or a local client, with a business VoIP phone, no extra cables are needed which means there are no extra costs. Also, you can carry your business VoIP phone number with you when you travel. No wonder it is called a virtual number! Where a Wi-Fi network is available, you could log into it and use your business VoIP service to start making and receiving phone calls. The same facility could be extended to mobile phones, which could use the VoIP network to make calls instead of standard mobile operators.

The biggest advantage of business VoIP service over traditional phone services is the complete integrated communications solution that it offers. With a business VoIP phone, it is possible to – make cheap domestic and international voice calls; take advantage of both audio and video conferencing; have features like call forwarding and call waiting; have voice messages and fax messages sent to your email address – and much more.

What’s not so good with a business VoIP phone…

While a business may benefit considerably with the cost-savings and additional features that a business VoIP phone service offers, there are certain cost factors, which need to be taken into account.

A business VoIP service is clearly dependent on power supply, implying that if there is no power, you will not be able to make or receive phone calls. This would mean you need a UPS to keep the business VoIP phone active during power outages and you would need a back-up PSTN line, just in case of emergencies.

Quality of voice in a business VoIP service had been an issue for some time, with complaints of echoes and jitters, etc. However, with VoIP solutions becoming more stable and mainstream now, you could get fairly good quality voice even on your business VoIP phone.

A converged network carrying both voice and data could raise issues of insufficient bandwidth, especially for small and medium business who typically have only one broadband line.

For any business, moving to a business VoIP phone service may be inevitable, but choosing a proper service provider will allow the company to seek features that will bring it immediate benefits, leaving a more comprehensive implementation for later.

Resource Box: Business VoIP can save a company thousands of dollars a year, some report savings of up to 80%. For smaller businesses a look at the benefits of a Business VoIP solution helps to see the advantages this new technology enables.

As technologies mature and more households gain access to high speed Internet, consumers will come to realize that it is simply more efficient and cost effective to send packets of voice over the Internet than over a point to point circuit switched land line. Long distance charges become a thing of the past, and international calls are pennies a minute if not free to some countries.

VoIP solutions are readily available to anyone with a high speed Internet connection, and the only hardware needed is an Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) and a phone. For most consumers, utilizing a calling plan from a VoIP service provider is the best solution. Most VoIP service providers will provide the ATA hardware (or software) for free, and monthly charges range from free on up.

Peer to Peer VoIP

The least expensive VoIP solution would be using a computer on a peer to peer network. Offered from such VoIP service providers as Skype or the Gizmo Project, the software is free to download and calls within the network are free worldwide. Calls to PSTN numbers are charged at a low VoIP rate. Peer to Peer VoIP is a software solution, meaning that no ATA is required, and your phone is a pair of earplugs and a microphone plugged into your computer. The downside is that call quality is lacking compared to some of the hardware VoIP solutions available.

The “Pure Play” VoIP Service Provider

Over the past few years, a new generation of upstarts has introduced themselves into the residential VoIP arena. Probably the most successful (at least popularity wise) would be the VoIP service provider Vonage. Thanks to their lavish spending on advertising, the technology of VoIP is becoming mainstream, and the general public is beginning to realize that if the circumstances are right, Voice over IP can be a viable cost saving alternative to the Plain Old Telephone System (POTS).

Vonage, Packet8, and SunRocket are just a few of many companies that are pure-play VoIP service providers. They have no interest in selling you cable TV, conventional telephone service, or cellular minutes. Monthly plans range anywhere from $7.00 to $40.00 and calls are free in the U.S., Canada, and in some cases Europe. International rates vary with many countries as low as 2-3 cents a minute.

These are the companies that have pioneered residential VoIP for the consumer and with their low monthly calling plans, the companies that will keep the giants in the Telecommunications Industry honest.

Telco’s as VoIP Providers

Just as deregulation and the advent of cellular technology in the past, VoIP is poised to revolutionize the Telecommunications Industry. And the large telephone companies, even the cellular phone companies are entering this new era kicking and screaming.

Telco’s like AT&T, the regional Bells and others are happy to provide broadband internet access through DSL, but very few are willing to unbundle the internet service from their conventional telephone services. They could do it technologically, and a few local phone companies are offering DSL on the “local loop”, without the wire with the dial tone. The fact is, having a broadband connection that requires you to also buy a conventional telephone connection pretty much defeats the purpose, thus making VoIP through DSL impractical for most people.

That said, the Telco’s see the writing on the wall and are slowly beginning to implement Voice over IP telephony. AT&T and Quest Communications offer residential VoIP solutions starting at $25.00 and $30.00 respectively, just slightly higher than a pure VoIP service provider. All of the basic features such as call forwarding, speed dialing, and 3-way calling are included, and premium services like virtual phone numbers, conference calling, and call filtering can be had for an additional charge. International rates seem to be somewhat higher than pure play rates, though only by pennies.

VoIP and Cable Companies

If anyone is in a position to win the Telecommunication wars, it’s the cable companies. Massive consolidation in the cable industry has led to huge privately owned networks that in many cases make it unnecessary to route calls over the public Internet. Quality of Service issues can be handled in house, and after all, companies like Cisco Systems pretty much built the Internet and are largely responsible for the development of Voice over IP Telephony.

Cable companies as VoIP service providers have the ability to bundle voice with high speed data and digital cable TV, and are even now running introductory offers of all three for 99.00 a month in some markets. But be careful, introductory offers end and VoIP plans with the cable companies are some of the most expensive to be had.

While VoIP service providers like Comcast and Time Warner generally receive good reviews for sound quality, monthly calling plans cost $40.00 and $45.00 respectively. Not bad when looking at a $70.00 phone bill from Bell South, but over twice as much as a pure-play VoIP service provider. No doubt, a good reliable broadband connection through a cable modem is the ideal VoIP solution (wireless notwithstanding), but you don’t have to use your cable company for VoIP.

In the end, it all depends on whats important to you. If all you need is to call a friend in China on the same network, then a peer to peer VoIP service provider is for you. If you live in an area where it’s offered, a telecom VoIP solution promises lower bills than their conventional connections, provided you can drop the land line.

For those that have cable modems, the choice of VoIP service providers is vast. For the monthly cost of another broadband connection, cable companies will come out to install the equipment and rewire every jack in your house. And they are just a service call away. Alternatively, the pure play VoIP providers offer the lowest rates around, and the quality is usually just as good.

Just remember, it’s all in the pipe. Calls will be as clear as your VoIP service providers’ network is uncongested.

VoIP phone service has taken over the telecommunication world by storm! This is inexpensive and has a lot of features that are comparable to the PSTN (landlines); it is the best thing for individual users, small businesses and large businesses.

Are you tired of paying huge phone bills for long distance calls and international calls? Do you own a small business and want a low cost phone service? VoIP phone service is for YOU! You can go wireless with a VoIP phone.

Here are 7 steps that will help you switch to VoIP go wireless

1. You will need an updated computer.

You will need to have an upgraded computer that is compatible with VoIP software. When you are comparing and choosing service providers, pay more attention to see if they run their programs on Windows, MacOS or Linux operating systems. Especially, if you use Mac or Linux, don’t assume that all VoIP phone service providers will have your needs met. Some of the common features of computers that affect the ability to provide VoIP wireless are hardware, motherboards, processor speeds, memory (RAM), video and graphic cards. If your computer is obsolete, VoIP phone service may not be functional.

2. You must have a High Speed Internet access such as DSL or Cable

High Speed Internet is a must for VoIP phone services to function. There maybe a few companies that work with dial-up connection but the audio quality is not satisfactory sometimes and it is because of the lack of high speed internet service. High Speed Internet connections provide the bandwidth needed and produce great quality audio.

3. Do you need residential or business VoIP phone service?

Some of the differences between residential and business plans include faxing and email capabilities, more long distance on basic and not unlimited plans, and some companies even throw in goodies such as free yellow book advertising for business VoIP phone service plans. Again, creating a list of what you want in a VoIP service will help you better determine what your tele-communication requirements are.

4. Compare VoIP Phone Service Providers

There are many factors that affect your choice of VoIP phone service providers – the number of long distance calls, international calls, business VoIP phone service etc. Now it is time to compare various service providers. VoIP is so common that chances are you may have a friend or relative that may already be using it! So, word of mouth is good way of getting some feedback. Comparing is important and there are more details to know, so read the article at – http://www.ez-voip-phone-service.com/how-to-compare-voip-phone-service-before-buying/

After comparing VoIP phone services, you can decide which VoIP service best suits your needs. Purchase this VoIP plan.

5. Choose Your Own Area Code

A lot of VoIP providers will give you the option of choosing your own area code and phone number. Just to be clear – you can live anywhere and still choose an area code from any other place! This is a great option that is available only in VoIP services and not in PSTN (landline). This is also a good idea for business owners who want to target a particular area of customer. They can choose the area code of this particular area of customers. Now, for the customers, this call will be local call.

6. Purchase an adapter for your VoIP Phone

This is important if you want to go wireless and don’t plan on sitting near computer just to receive or make your phone calls. Most of the VoIP phone service providers send you free adapter. If you don’t receive a free adapter, then you can purchase one. With an adapter, you don’t have to sit near the computer. This will allow you to use your household phones to take calls.

7. Other Important Things about VoIP phone service

As you know, VoIP phones have very similar features such as setting up your voicemail, caller ID etc., you can configure it. In fact, there is an internet control panel that you can use to configure these features.

VoIP phone service is a definitely a blessing to the world of communication. You can make very inexpensive long distance and international calls and use business VoIP phone service for your business – small or large.
